Welcome to Heritage Baptist Church.

Let me introduce you to who we are. We are an Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church. By independent, we mean that we are not in a denomination. We fellowship with other churches who both believe the Bible and practice it as we do. By fundamental, we believe that the fundamentals of the faith are essential to salvation and not negotiable to compromise. As Baptists, we take a historical stand with men and women down through the ages who believe the Bible to be the final authority in all practices of life. We are a people who love our community. Our Sunday School program has a class for everyone from nursery age through retirement. On Wednesday nights we have a King's Kids Club which is geared for children from ages K-7th grade, an active teen group, and an adult prayer group. We also have ministries at the Veteran's home and county jails. We have a bus ministry in Gwinn, Michigan and the K.I. Sawyer area. On Friday nights we have Reformer's Unanimous, an active adult addictions program. We believe we have some of the friendliest people in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We invite you to visit us any Sunday, Wednesday, or Friday night.
